Welcome to the Crohn’s and Colitis UK Recycling Page

Crohn’s and Colitis UK is the UK’s leading charity in the battle again Crohn’s Disease and Ulcerative Colitis. As well as supporting children and adults with Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD).

Founded as a patient’s association in 1979, this great charity now has 39,500 members across the UK. The members include families and friends as well as patients who suffer from IBD, and also health professionals and support workers.

The charity has set up 50 local networks across the nation to help organise raising vital funds. Crohn’s and Colitis UK work to make life better for the 300,000 people in the UK with Crohn’s Disease, Ulcerative Colitis and other forms of IBD.

IBD is a chronic, painful and debilitating disease, largely invisible to others. The disease affects hundreds of thousands of families right across the UK. Today, over 300,000 people have the disease and every 30 minutes, someone new is diagnosed.

The charity is wanting to improve lives today and want a world free from Crohn’s and Colitis tomorrow.

Just £20 will help support a person in distress and allow them to receive vital support from the charities helplines.

Since becoming a partner of Crohn’s and Colitis UK, The Recycling Factory have donated enough funds for over 70 patients a year to be better informed about their condition but we don’t want it to stop there. So, please continue to recycle for Crohn’s and Colitis UK and help us grow our partnership.

This recycling scheme for charities is a completely free of charge service. We donate 100% of the value of all inkjet cartridges, which are successfully recycled.

Only selected inkjet cartridges are eligible for a donation, therefore please ensure that you check to see if the cartridge that you intend to recycle is listed. If the inkjet cartridge is listed, simply click on the freepost downloadable label below and affix this to your own packaging.

The weight limit for the freepost label is 1kg, but don’t worry if you have multiple items that exceed the weight limit, you can split these into smaller packages and use another label.

If you would like to recycle laser toner cartridges, please contact us via info@trf-uk.com for more information.
