When your recycling box is full** simply, take it to your local post office to return your empty cartridges for recycling.
Get paid, once the returned cartridge have been processed we will make the donation to the charity of your choice.
The Seafarers UK is a charity that has been helping people in the maritime community for over 100 years. This charity provides vital support to seafarers in need and their families. This charity does this by giving grants to organisations and projects to make a real difference to people’s lives, across the Merchant Navy, Fishing Fleets, Royal Navy and Royal Marines.
Last year the Seafarers UK gave grants totalling £3.2m to over 60 maritime welfare charities.
When a donation is made to the Seafarers UK it goes to help seafarers and their families from the Marchant Navy, Fishing Fleets, Royal Navy and Royal Marines; all who play such a vital role in everyday life and endure a demanding working environment, Seafarers UK do not receive any government funding, donations are incredibly important to them and to the seafarers and their families who need help.
Since becoming a partner of the Seafarers UK, The Recycling Factory have donated over £300 but we don’t want it to stop there. So, please continue to recycle for the Seafarers UK and help us grow our partnership.
This recycling scheme for charities is a completely free of charge service. We donate 100% of the value of all inkjet cartridges, which are successfully recycled.
Only selected inkjet cartridges are eligible for a donation, therefore please ensure that you check to see if the cartridge that you intend to recycle is listed.
