Every week in the UK at least 12 young people die of undiagnosed heart conditions. In 1995 Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY) was formed. Since then, the charity has been working hard to reduce the frequency of sudden cardiac death.
CRY supports young people who are diagnosed with potentially life-threatening cardiac conditions whilst offering bereavement support to families affected by young sudden cardiac death.
This incredible charity has been developing heart screening programmes and funding critical medical research. The charity also funds specialist referral, screening and cardiac pathology services at leading UK hospitals.
How does your money help?
38p from every £1 spent goes to CRY’s cardiac screening services, this subsidies the costs and increase the availability for young people. This money combined with key research money all goes towards saving young people’s lives.
This recycling scheme for charities is a completely free of charge service. We donate 100% of the value of all inkjet cartridges, which are successfully recycled.
Only selected inkjet cartridges are eligible for a donation, therefore please ensure that you check to see if the cartridge that you intend to recycle is listed.
